The Holy Redeemer Royals will venture away from home to take on the Elk Lake Warriors at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Holy Redeemer comes in on three and Elk Lake on nine.
If Holy Redeemer beats Elk Lake with four runs on Friday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two matches with that exact score. The Royals never let Lake-Lehman get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory on Thursday.

The result came thanks to Cody Quaglia's shutout, as he gave up just a hit and racked up seven Ks. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Noah Hummel was excellent, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one run and one double.
Elk Lake came out on top against Blue Ridge on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run second inning. The Warriors blew past the Raiders 11-0. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won eight contests by ten runs or more so far this season.
The team relied heavily on Braydon McMicken, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Another player making a difference was John Heitsman, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, two doubles, and one RBI.
Elk Lake's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Holy Redeemer, their win bumped their record up to 9-1.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Friday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Holy Redeemer has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8.9 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Elk Lake struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.7 strikeouts.
