Football Game Preview: Forest Hills Eastern Hawks vs. West Catholic Falcons + How To Watch

The Forest Hills Eastern Hawks will venture away from home to face off against the West Catholic Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Forest Hills Eastern has struggled recently with three losses in a row, while West Catholic will arrive with six straight victories.

Forest Hills Eastern is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They fell 56-43 to Spring Lake on Friday. That's two games in a row now that the Hawks have lost by exactly 13 points.

Despite the defeat, Forest Hills Eastern got top-tier performance from Luke Rosenbrook, who picked up 89 receiving yards and a pair of TDs, and also rushed for 39 yards. Rosenbrook also hauled in two receiving touchdowns, marking his first of the season.

Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led West Catholic over Wayland in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Falcons blew the Wildcats out of the water with a 48-19 final score. Given the Falcons' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 28th, while the Wildcats are ranked 214th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Forest Hills Eastern now has a losing record of 3-4. As for West Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.

Forest Hills Eastern and West Catholic were almost perfectly matched up when the teams last played back in October of 2024, but Forest Hills Eastern suffered an agonizing 24-23 loss. Can the Hawks avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
