Baseball Game Preview: Clover Hill Cavaliers vs. Cosby Titans

The Clover Hill Cavaliers will take on the Cosby Titans at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games Clover Hill has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Clover Hill made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Monacan, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Cavaliers fell just short of the Chiefs by a score of 4-2 on Thursday. The Cavaliers haven't had much luck with the Chiefs recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Clover Hill saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carson Hupp, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Hupp is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

Meanwhile, Cosby got the win against Deep Run on Monday by a conclusive 9-1.

Cosby's victory bumped their record up to 7-3-1. As for Clover Hill, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.

Clover Hill skirted past Cosby 6-4 in their previous meeting last Monday. Will the Cavaliers repeat their success, or do the Titans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
