Lincoln proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by four) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the DMLK Panthers. The victory was familiar territory for Lincoln, who have now won nine games in a row.

Nayra Quijano and Daisy Perez scored both of Lincoln's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Lincoln's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-2-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those four matchups. As for DMLK, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.

Lincoln wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 5-0 win against Kennedy on the 25th. As for DMLK, they have also already played their next game, a 0-0 draw against Manual on the 25th.
