Los Alamos posted their closest victory since March 29, 2024 on Monday. They skirted past the Moriarty Pintos 8-7. The win continues a trend for the Hilltoppers in their matchups with the Pintos: they've now won seven in a row.

Ezri Roybal was excellent, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was Reyana Naranjo, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Los Alamos' victory bumped their record up to 7-5-1. As for Moriarty, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Los Alamos is set to take on their familiar foe Espanola Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Moriarty will challenge rival Taos at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
