Basketball Recap: Munday Picks Up Eighth Straight Win at Home

Munday had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They blew past the Colorado Wolves 66-46. Given the Moguls' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 411th, while the Wolves are ranked 1242nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Munday's victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.1 points per game. As for Colorado, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Munday will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Newcastle at 2:00 p.m. on December 30th. As for Colorado, they will square off against Archer City at 4:45 p.m. on Friday.
