Baseball Recap: Firebaugh Takes a Loss

Firebaugh was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They came up short against the Mendota Aztecs, falling 10-0. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Aztecs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Firebaugh's defeat dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Mendota, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-10.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Firebaugh will face off against rival Coalinga at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Mendota is set to take on their familiar foe Tranquillity at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
