Baseball Game Preview: North Stars vs. Mojave Mustangs

The North Stars will head out on the road to face off against the Mojave Mustangs at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. North has now lost 13 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since March 20.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times North and East Bakersfield have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Thursday. The Stars lost 13-3 to the Blades.

North saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was BRANDAN THOMASSON, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run.

Palmdale Academy Charter School hit Mojave with a 14-run seventh inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Mustangs came up short against the Jaguars, falling 23-2. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

North's loss dropped their record down to 5-17. As for Mojave, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.
