Thore Lucas leads Compass Charter to victory over Marsing

The Compass Charter Aviators's game last Thursday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 55-54 win over Marsing. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Compass Charter considering their 25-point performance the match before.

Compass Charter can attribute much of their success to Thore Lucas, who scored 21 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lucas has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jayden Horn, who scored ten points along with two steals and two blocks.

Compass Charter is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season. As for Marsing, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-6.

Compass Charter's road trip will continue as they head out to face Melba at 7:30 p.m. on January 19th. Melba will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. Marsing will take on The Ambrose School at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
