Volleyball Recap: Webster Groves' Win on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Webster Groves entered their tilt with Northwest on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Lions. The Statesmen have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lions, too.

Webster Groves was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 15-25, 25-19, 25-16.

Webster Groves' win bumped their record up to 8-16. As for Northwest, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-13-1.

Coming up, Webster Groves will take on Whitfield at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Northwest does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
