Volleyball Recap: Alief Taylor Takes a Loss

Alief Taylor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Dawson Eagles. If the Lions were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Eagles when the teams met back in October of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-7.

Alief Taylor's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Dawson, their win was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0.

Alief Taylor wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Cy-Fair on the 14th. As for Dawson, they will take on Deer Park at 5:30 p.m. on the 22nd.
