Basketball Recap: Everett Takes a Loss

Everett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 67-8 loss at the hands of the DeWitt Panthers. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 559th, while the Panthers are ranked tenth).

Everett's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for DeWitt, their win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Everett will face off against Holt at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for DeWitt, they will square off against Byron Center at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
