Basketball Recap: Concord Takes a Loss

On Saturday, the Concord Minutemen came up short against the Berrien Springs Shamrocks and fell 54-42. While the Minutemen didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Shamrocks 14-10 in the first quarter.

Concord's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Berrien Springs, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

After both having extra time off, Concord and Fairfield will shake off the cobwebs and challenge one another at 7:45 p.m. on January 4, 2025. As for Berrien Springs, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Bangor at 4:15 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
