Softball Recap: Stover Bulldogs vs. Northwest Mustangs
Stover was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell victim to a tough 12-2 loss at the hands of the Northwest Mustangs.
Stover saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gabriella Sidebottom, who went 1-for-3 with an RBI.
Stover's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Northwest, their victory bumped their record up to 14-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stover will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Crest Ridge at 5:00 p.m. As for Northwest, they will square off against Tipton at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Northwest's pitching crew has only allowed 2.5 runs per game this season, so Tipton's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
