Recap: Santa Fe Indian Braves vs. Crownpoint Eagles
The Santa Fe Indian Braves won the last time they faced the Crownpoint Eagles, and things went their way on Friday too. Everything went Santa Fe Indian's way against Crownpoint as Santa Fe Indian made off with a 51-29 victory.
Among those leading the charge was Emma Lewis, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 15 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jasmine Coriz, who scored 8 points.
The victory got Santa Fe Indian back to even at 1-1. As for Crownpoint, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Santa Fe Indian's road trip will continue as they head out to face Academy for Technology and The Classics at 12:00 p.m. on December 2nd. As for Crownpoint, they will square off against Cottonwood Classical Prep at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Cottonwood Classical Prep comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
