            For the second straight game, East Bakersfield will face off against Del Oro. The Blades will be playing in front of their home fans against the Suns  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. East Bakersfield is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8  runs per game  this season.
East Bakersfield will roll into the  matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one  run  on Friday, then bounced right back against Del Oro  on Tuesday. The Blades put the hurt on the Suns with a sharp  28-1 win. The Blades haven't had any issues with the Suns recently, as the game was their third consecutive  victory against them.

MENDOZA was even better at the plate,  going a perfect 5-for-5 with five  runs, two  stolen bases,  and four  RBI. He is becoming a predictor of East Bakersfield's success: when he posts  at  least two  runs the team is undefeated (and 6-12 when he doesn't).
 In other batting news,  NOAH FERGUSON was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  double. East Bakersfield is 7-1 when  FERGUSON posts two or  more  runs, but 4-11 otherwise. Another player making a difference was  RANDY LENOIR, who  went 2-for-4 with four  RBI, two  doubles,  and one  run.
 East Bakersfield  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .727. The last time their  OBP was this high was  back in May of 2024.
 East Bakersfield's win bumped their record up to 11-12. As for Del Oro,  they are  on  a  15-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-17.
