Basketball Recap: Blair-Taylor Takes a Loss

Blair-Taylor has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 62-59 heartbreaker at the hands of the Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran Lancers. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Wildcats came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 151st, while the Lancers are ranked 385th).

Blair-Taylor's loss dropped their record down to 12-4. As for Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran, their win bumped their record up to 5-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Blair-Taylor Wildcats challenge the Eleva-Strum Cardinals at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran has already played their next matchup (against Alma Center Lincoln), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
