Volleyball Recap: Ransom Everglades Takes a Loss

Ransom Everglades was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Dr. Joaquin Garcia Bulldogs.

Dr. Joaquin Garcia found their leader in sophomore Conner Olson, who had five aces. Those five aces set a new season-high mark for Olson. Adam Masri also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

Ransom Everglades' loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Dr. Joaquin Garcia, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Ransom Everglades didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Immaculata-La Salle on the 21st. As for Dr. Joaquin Garcia, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Somerset Academy South Homestead on the 21st.
