Basketball Recap: Scott's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak at Home

After flying high against Hugoton last Friday, Scott came back down to earth. The Scott Beavers fell 44-36 to the Holcomb Longhorns on Monday. The loss continues a trend for the Beavers in their matchups with the Longhorns: they've now lost eight in a row.

Scott's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-7. As for Holcomb, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Holcomb beat Scott by a score of 44-36 on Tuesday.
