Recap: Meigs Marauders vs. Alexander Spartans
The Meigs Marauders had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They claimed a resounding 46-8 win over Alexander at home. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Meigs also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2022.
Meigs had a senior duo take command as Conlee Burnem rushed for 185 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries and Griffin Cleland rushed for 87 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries. Burnem's longest rush was for an incredible 76 yards.
Meigs' victory bumped their record up to 2-8. As for Alexander, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season.
Meigs does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Alexander is also done with their season.
