Recap: Legacy Christian Grizzlies vs. Anderson HomeSchool SONS
It was a good run, but the Legacy Christian Grizzlies unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a serious blow against Anderson HomeSchool, falling 75-46. Legacy Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-22.
Despite the loss, Legacy Christian still got an impressive performance from Seth Harper, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Sanders, who scored 12 points.
Legacy Christian struggled to work together and finished the game with only four assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Anderson HomeSchool racked up 20 assists.
Leading Anderson HomeSchool to victory were Clark Emly and Kailani McCloud. Emly dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds, while McCloud scored 14 points along with six rebounds and three blocks. The game was McCloud's 12th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jacob Looper, who scored nine points.
Legacy Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Anderson HomeSchool, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.
Legacy Christian and King's Academy will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 12, 2024 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Anderson HomeSchool, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Noble-Whitley Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on December 19th. One thing working in Noble-Whitley Warriors' favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three games.
