Baseball Recap: Snook Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Burton, Snook was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 win over the Somerville Yeguas. That's more bragging rights for the Bluejays, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Snook let Gabe Lacaze and Ramiro Martinez run wild. Lacaze went 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base, while Martinez went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. That's the most RBI Martinez has posted since back in April of 2025.

Snook's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-9. As for Somerville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season.
