The Lakeland Christian Academy Cougars scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They claimed a resounding 55-9 victory over Clinton Christian at home. That looming 55-9 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Lakeland Christian Academy yet this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lakeland Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Katie Reimink, who scored ten points along with eight assists and five steals. That's the first time this season that Reimink posted eight or more assists. Dayton Sibert was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with six rebounds.
Lakeland Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Clinton Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing DeMotte Christian the next time they take the court. Lakeland Christian Academy will host DeMotte Christian at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, while Clinton Christian will host them at 11:00 a.m. on Friday.
