Basketball Recap: Ipswich Comes Up Short

After flying high against Whittier RVT last Friday, Ipswich came back down to earth. The Ipswich Tigers lost 72-51 to the Manchester Essex Hornets on Monday. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Hornets recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Ipswich's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Manchester Essex, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 11-3.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Georgetown the next time they take the court. Manchester Essex will head out to face Georgetown at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while Ipswich will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
