Volleyball Recap: Animo Watts Wins Going Away Against Locke

Animo Watts made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Locke, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Animo Watts Warriors blew past the Locke Saints 3-0 on Thursday. This was payback for the Warriors, who suffered a 3-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Animo Watts took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-15, 25-15.

The victory made it two in a row for Animo Watts and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Animo Watts has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Magnolia Science Academy Carson on the 17th. Locke will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Crenshaw at 4:30 p.m. on March 24th. This will be Locke's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
