Football Recap: St. Mary's Central Drops Highest Score of Season Against Watford City

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Mary's Central). Everything went their way against the Watford City Wolves on Thursday as they made off with a 35-12 win. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

St. Mary's Central's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-5. As for Watford City, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. St. Mary's Central is set to square off against their familiar foe Jamestown on Friday. Meanwhile, Watford City will take on rival Devils Lake at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th.
