Volleyball Game Preview: Midlakes Screaming Eagles vs. Wayne Eagles

Midlakes hasn't had much luck against Wayne recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Screaming Eagles will challenge the Eagles at 6:30 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Tuesday.

Midlakes had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Aquinas Institute on Saturday. The Screaming Eagles blew past the Little Irish 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-11, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Wayne waltzed into their contest on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Everything went their way against the Tigers as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

Wayne's win bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Midlakes, their victory bumped their record up to 8-4.

Midlakes took their win against Wayne in their previous matchup back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Screaming Eagles since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
