Softball Recap: Peoria Notre Dame Irish vs. Normal West Wildcats
Peoria Notre Dame lost to Normal West back in April of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Irish came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 12-9. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Irish.
The team relied heavily on Ella Tady, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Mady Gibson, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one double.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Peoria Notre Dame kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They are 8-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
