Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jennings). They strolled past the DeRidder Dragons with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 37-21. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Dragons recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Although DeRidder took the loss, they still got scores from Jayden Merriwether, John Lesaux, and Jaiden Cooper.

Jennings' victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for DeRidder, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Coming up, Jennings will take on Lake Charles College Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs will be up against the Trailblazers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 37.25 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for DeRidder, they will welcome Eunice at 7:00 p.m. on the 10th. The Dragons are facing the Bobcats at the right time seeing as the Bobcats are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
