Volleyball Recap: Academe of the Oaks Takes a Loss

Academe of the Oaks lost against Lighthouse Christian back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Firebirds lost 3-0 to Lighthouse Christian. The Firebirds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Academe of the Oaks' loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Lighthouse Christian, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Coming up, Academe of the Oaks will venture away from home to take on Providence Classical Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lighthouse Christian will be paying especially close attention to Academe of the Oaks' matchup: after Academe of the Oaks faces off against The New School, they'll take on Lighthouse Christian again at 5:00 p.m. on October 2.
