Game recap: South Fork High School Football Team wins against Olympic Heights

BOCA RATON, Fla. - South Fork (Stuart, Fla.) saw its 15-point lead dwindle to 10, but still managed to hang on and defeat Olympic Heights (Boca Raton, Fla.) 31-21 on Saturday.

After taking the lead on a Mike Harris touchdown run in the second quarter, the Bulldogs led 21-15 at the half.

South Fork expanded its lead to nine points entering the fourth quarter. SF scored once in the quarter on a field goal by Taylor Ross.

With the win the Stuart school extended its winning streak to nine games. The Bulldogs defeated the Brahmans 10-7 last week.



Jim Derival played well for the Lions. He ran for two touchdowns.

Harris stood out for South Fork in the win. The senior ran for two touchdowns. He has now scored six touchdowns on the season.

Olympic Heights came in allowing just 12.9 points per game this season. OH struggled against SF's offense, which entered the game scoring 24.3 points per game.

When the two teams played each other last season, the Bulldogs came away with a 46-0 victory.

The loss comes after Olympic Heights defeated Forest Hill 33-14 last week.

In a 6A District 14 game next week Olympic Heights (6-3) takes on Okeechobee, and South Fork (9-0) will go up against Sebastian River also in a 6A District 14 game.
