Soccer Recap: Poudre Takes a Loss

Poudre was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Fort Collins Lambkins, falling 4-0. Poudre were not able to make up for their defeat to Fort Collins from their previous meeting back in May of 2025.

Poudre's loss dropped their record down to 1-8-2. As for Fort Collins, the win was their first at home, bumping their record up to 2-6-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Poudre will square off against Denver East at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Denver East will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Poudre surely won't give up without a fight. As for Fort Collins, they will take on Cherokee Trail at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Cherokee Trail's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
