Basketball Recap: Southwood Takes a Loss

Southwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 59-52 to the Maconaquah Braves, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 59-52 on Tuesday.

Southwood's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Maconaquah, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-6.

Southwood will challenge Lewis Cass at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Maconaquah has already played their next match (against Whitko), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
