Football Recap: Pottstown Trojans vs. Norristown Eagles
Pottstown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were beaten by the Norristown Eagles 34-6. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 20-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2022.
Norristown had a senior duo take command as Brendan Farrell threw for 267 yards and three touchdowns while completing 85% of his passes and Marzon Carr rushed for 170 yards while picking up 8.5 yards per carry. Those 170 rushing yards gave Carr a new career-high. A healthy portion of Farrell's aerial production (101 yards to be exact) went to Chase Williams.
Pottstown's record now sits at 1-9. As for Norristown, the win snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 4-6 record.
As of now, neither Pottstown nor Norristown have any future games scheduled.
