After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Leigh, Piedmont Hills was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Independence 76ers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in March.

Piedmont Hills walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 23-25, 25-17, 25-16.

Piedmont Hills moved to 7-3 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Independence, they dropped their record down to 4-14 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Piedmont Hills has already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Evergreen Valley on the 10th. As for Independence, they will take on Hillsdale in a tournament on Saturday.
