Football Game Preview: Diamond Ranch Panthers vs. Baldwin Park Braves + Official Tickets

The Diamond Ranch Panthers will head out to challenge the Baldwin Park Braves at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Diamond Ranch is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.

Diamond Ranch came up short against West Covina on Thursday, falling 35-13. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 521st, while the Bulldogs are ranked 179th).

Meanwhile, Baldwin Park came up short against San Dimas on Thursday and fell 38-28. The Braves haven't had much luck with the Saints recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Diamond Ranch will need to focus on slowing down Valentino May, one of several Baldwin Park players who made an impact when they last played. He threw for 302 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also rushed for 35 yards. Jacory Coleman was in the mix as well, providing Baldwin Park with two TDs.

Baldwin Park now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Diamond Ranch, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

Diamond Ranch couldn't quite get it done against Baldwin Park when the teams last played back in October of 2024 as they fell 36-25. Thankfully for the Panthers, Jake Garcia (who threw for 187 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 passes, and also rushed for 36 yards and one score) won't be suiting up this time.
