Baseball Recap: Irondequoit Comes Up Short

Irondequoit was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 8-0 to the Webster Schroeder Warriors, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 on Saturday.

Irondequoit's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Webster Schroeder, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-11.

Irondequoit wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 5-2 win against Greece Arcadia on the 12th. As for Webster Schroeder, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against Victor on the 11th.
