Basketball Recap: Christ's Church Academy Comes Up Short

Christ's Church Academy suffered their biggest defeat since February 6th on Monday. They came up short against the Wausau West Warriors, falling 51-30. The match marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Despite the loss, Christ's Church Academy still got an impressive performance from Ethan Roof, who posted seven points and seven rebounds. Those seven points gave Roof a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Roof, who had seven points.

Christ's Church Academy's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Wausau West, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Christ's Church Academy will square off against Covenant School of Jacksonville at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Wausau West, they will face off against D.C. Everest at 7:15 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
