Football Game Recap: St. Augustine vs. Cathedral Catholic

The last time they met, St. Augustine were the 45-6 winner over Cathedral Catholic. This time around? They had no such luck. St. Augustine took a hard 14-34 fall against Cathedral Catholic. St. Augustine were down by 7-27 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

St. Augustine got a solid performance out of junior Angelo Peraza, who passed for 229 yards and 1 touchdown; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the win. Additional support came from defensive powerhouse junior Eavan Gibbons, who racked up nine tackles.

Next week St. Augustine take on Madison at 6:30 PM. St. Augustine's defense better steel itself: Madison are averaging 30.86 points per game. Cathedral Catholic will take on Christian at home at 7:00 PM. Christian are cruising in on a seven-game winning streak.
