Baseball Recap: North Pike Comes Up Short

North Pike managed to slip by East Central the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Jaguars lost 11-1 to the Hornets on Saturday. The Jaguars were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Hornets earlier this season, when they won 4-2.

North Pike dropped their record down to 20-10 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for East Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-13 record this season.

While North Pike had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
