Baseball Game Preview: Dothan Wolves vs. Headland Rams

For the second straight game, Dothan will face off against Headland. The Wolves will be playing at home against the Rams at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Dothan has struggled recently with five losses in a row, while Headland will arrive with three straight wins.

The home team had won the previous five meetings between Dothan and Headland, and Headland kept the tradition alive. The Wolves fell 4-1 to the Rams on Tuesday.

Dothan saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tripp Benton, who went 2-for-3 with one double. Carter Richards also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

The victory got Headland back to even at 6-6. As for Dothan, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-10.
