            The Lackawanna Trail Lions will take on the Nativity BVM Green Wave at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Lackawanna Trail has seven straight  wins, Nativity BVM has three straight  losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
On Friday, Lackawanna Trail made easy work of Riverside  and carried off  a  40-14 victory. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won six contests by 22  points or more  so far this season.

 Ryon was just one part of a punishing run game: Lackawanna Trail was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 503  rushing yards. That's the most  rushing yards they've managed all season.
 Meanwhile,  Nativity BVM played a tough  game  on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were  outmatched by Marian Catholic and fell  41-14. The Green Wave were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  27-0.
 Nativity BVM's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Lackawanna Trail, their win bumped their record up to 9-1.
 Everything came up roses for Lackawanna Trail against Nativity BVM in their previous matchup  back in November of 2024, as the  team secured  a  47-20 victory. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Green Wave's  Sam Walborn, who rushed for 119 yards and one  touchdown on only nine carries, and also picked up 39 receiving yards.
