Basketball Game Preview: Chatham Central Bears vs. Eastern Randolph Wildcats + How To Watch

The Chatham Central Bears are headed away from home for the first time to challenge the Eastern Randolph Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Chatham Central is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against The Burlington School on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Bears lost 65-43 to the Spartans. The Bears were down 49-29 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Meanwhile, Eastern Randolph ended up a good deal behind Cary Academy on Tuesday and lost 59-40.

Having lost for the first time this season, Chatham Central fell to 2-1. As for Eastern Randolph, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Things could have been worse for Chatham Central, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 64-49 loss to Eastern Randolph in their previous matchup back in January of 2023. Thankfully for the Bears, Brecken Snotherly (who posted 42 points and seven rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
