Football Game Preview: Riverheads vs. Lee

Given their disadvantage in the MaxPreps state rankings, Lee should expect quite the challenge on Friday. They hope to keep the momentum going despite having enjoyed some extra time before their next contest against Riverheads at 7:00 PM. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the teams both put up some lofty point totals in their previous games, so things might heat up even more when they meet up.

Lee had a rough outing against Wilson Memorial three weeks ago, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Lee were able to grind out a solid victory over Luray two weeks ago, winning 44-30.

As for Riverheads, they won against Wilson Memorial with 56 points, and they decided to stick to that point total again last Friday. Everything came up roses for Riverheads against Luray as the team secured a 56-13 win. The lopsided score is just par for the course this season for Riverheads, who can brag about six blowout wins.

Lee had enough points to win and then some against Riverheads the last time the two teams met, taking their matchup 23-7.
