Football Recap: Castle Knights vs. Evansville North Huskies
Castle had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 14-11 win over the Evansville North Huskies. For the Knights, this counts as revenge for the 60-50 loss the Huskies walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2023.
Castle wouldn't let Evansville North keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Castle can thank Gavin Leach and Brodie Farmer for forcing both of them. Castle got some further help from Trey Ward: he made 17 total tackles (1.0 for loss).
Castle will head out to face off against Evansville Mater Dei at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Evansville North, they will be playing at home against Evansville Memorial at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
