Volleyball Recap: South Johnston Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If South Johnston was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of North Johnston last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Trojans came up short against the Midway Raiders on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Raiders apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-21, 25-21.

South Johnston now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Midway, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Johnston will welcome Pine Forest at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. South Johnston is facing Pine Forest at the right time seeing as Pine Forest is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Midway, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Princeton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
