Baseball Game Preview: Mountain View Bruins vs. Uintah Utes

For the second straight game, Mountain View will face off against Uintah. The Bruins will square off against the Utes at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mountain View has given up an average of 7.1 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Mountain View came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 16-10 to Uintah.

Caden Imes made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 3-for-5. The team also got some help courtesy of Beck Benson, who got on base in two of his five plate appearances with three RBI.

The win was the fifth in a row for Uintah, bringing their record up to 9-12. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.4 runs over those games. As for Mountain View, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-10 record this season.
