Basketball Game Preview: Colonial Heights Colonials vs. Petersburg Crimson Wave

The Colonial Heights Colonials will challenge the Petersburg Crimson Wave at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Tuesday, Colonial Heights lost to Dinwiddie on the road by a 68-50 margin.

Meanwhile, Petersburg was beaten by Hopewell 62-35 on Tuesday. The Crimson Wave have struggled against the Blue Devils recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Colonial Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Petersburg, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

Colonial Heights was able to grind out a solid win over Petersburg in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, winning 43-35. Will Colonial Heights repeat their success, or does Petersburg have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
