Basketball Recap: Oasis Christian Takes a Loss

Oasis Christian and Victory Christian Academy squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Oasis Christian had to settle for second. They were beaten by the Victory Christian Academy Storm 94-17. Having soared to a lofty 61 points in the game before, the Lions couldn't push the score so high this time.

Quinton Wilson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Victory Christian Academy, going 7-for-10 on his way to 20 points in addition to seven assists and three steals. What's more, Wilson also posted a 70% shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's posted since back in January of 2024. Chris Bernard was another key player, putting up 11 points along with six assists and five rebounds.

Oasis Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Victory Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season.

Oasis Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Victory Christian Academy, they have already played their next game, an 87-47 victory against City of Life Christian Academy on the 8th.
