Volleyball Recap: Muscatine Takes a Loss

If Muscatine was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Davenport North last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Muskies lost 3-0 to the Bettendorf Bulldogs on Tuesday. The Muskies have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Muscatine's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Bettendorf, they pushed their record up to 12-11 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Muscatine is set to square off against their familiar foe Benton at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Bettendorf will challenge rival Central DeWitt at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
